The Mineral UV Filter formulas do not contain any nanoparticles. Instead, by optimizing the amount of the blocking agents, a refined dispersion of micronized ZnO and TiO2 in flexible, high-volatility, non-comedogenic silicones allows the formulations to remain extremely lightweight. The Ordinary's formulation primarily uses ZnO for its protective effects (because, in addition to reflecting/refracting light, ZnO can absorb UV rays without producing oxygen radicals), and the supporting TiO2 that it contains is only in rutile form (no anatase TiO2 is used at all because it is an aggressive producer of free radicals).

How to use:

Shake vigorously before using. Apply liberally and evenly to the face 15 to 20 minutes before UV exposure. Reapply every 2 hours or after material water exposure, towel-drying, swimming, or excessive perspiration to maintain UV protection. When swimming or sweating, use a water-resistant sunscreen. All skin tones are suitable. Consult a physician before using on children under the age of 6 months. Keep your eyes closed. To remove, rinsing with water is recommended. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Only use as directed on undamaged skin. Patch testing is recommended prior to use. Keep out of children's reach. If ingested, seek medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Only for external use. Protect the product in this container from excessive heat and direct sun. This product helps prevent sunburn.

Please be assured, however, that an English version will also be included (on the other side).

Change in Labelling

Some of the products we import from DECIEM Korea will have packaging changes that include information such as ingredients and usage instructions. One side of the box will be printed in Korean, while the other will be printed in English (as shown in the image below).
